Backflow preventer Part of Pressure-Lite toilet flush control components, along with aspirator, pressure regulator, and outlet manifold. These components work with the incoming pressurized supply line water to provide a regulated pressure flush to the toilet bowl.

Ballcock Also referred to as float valve or fill valve. The mechanism that controls the flow of water into a gravity-operated toilet tank. The ballcock is controlled by the float mechanism floating in the water in the tank. When the toilet is flushed, the float drops and opens the ballcock, allowing water to enter the tank and to flow through the bowl refill tube. The float rises as water level in tank is restored and shuts off the ballcock when the tank is completely filled.

Base faucet Part of lavatory faucet that includes the spout, valve bodies, and drain assembly. Does not include handles, which are sold separately as part of the handle kit. For bath faucets, the base valve does not include the faceplate, handle, showerhead, or spout.

Block sensor mode For Touchless faucets, a system mode which occurs when the faucet continually senses an object, causing the faucet to stop functioning normally. The faucet will appear to be "OFF", and will self-actuate every two hours to alert you to its condition.
