ST100500   CARTRIDGE REMOVAL TOOL

FLUSHMATE
CARTRIDGES

The effort of removing and replacing a cartridge from a SLOAN toilet is cut by ¾ of the time and assures a clean and successful installation each and every time. ST100500 Cartridge Removal Tool; greatly simplifies the process regardless of any obstacles present (shelves, handicap rails…). This method does not require the removal of the cartridge actuator or screw. The tool makes contact with each of the cartridge fins and assures the required strength to both remove the old and properly tighten the newly replaced cartridge.  A majority of service calls place on these toilets result in merely the replacement of the cartridge.
Note: Six sided 5/8-socket 3/8-drive ratchet recommended.

Manufacturers instructions: Turn off water to toilet and flush the toilet to remove pressure. Use ST100500 QuikMate to remove the old cartridge, pour clean water over female threads to remove any sediment etc. Insert the new cartridge; push down until cartridge stops. Using the ST100500 QuikMate, screw the cartridge in until first black female threads are showing. Turn water on, then screw cartridge 1/4 turn until water stops. Excessive force can cause damage to the tool and or cartridge.
